TTC while Nursing - June - Page 5

I'm on CD18 and still waiting to O. I have managed to only miss 2 days of temps so far this cycle, so hopefully we can pinpoint O this cycle. I've been having an increase in CM for the last 2 days, so I'm thinking O will probably be in a few days.

Congratulations to the mamas with BFPs. Hope I get to join you in the March DDC.

If we do get our BFP this month my EDD would be March 16, which is my Mum's birthday.

So I finally Oed, and now on day 3 of luteal phase I have light brown spotting? I am so tired of this spotting stuff. I am ready to go out and get some progesterone cream at the whole foods to see if that will stop it. Any ideas on why this is happening to me. The spotting usually lasts until I get Aunt Flow, but it has never started this early . It usually starts on day 10 or 11.

Congrats to the new BFPs!!

I have had the WIERDEST cycle this time. I had O pains around CD18, my fertile CM dried up around CD21-22, but my temp didn't really go up until CD26. Could you ladies take a look at my chart and see what you think? We got a bunch of BDing in around the time I expected to O but then we got killer busy and got nothing in on the later bit, where my temp was doing the rocky mountain thing. Anyway, I guess time will tell, I'm just glad this didn't end up being an anovulatory cycle!

Hi ladies,

I'd like to join the group! I am nursing my DS, 28 months, and I'm on my 6th PP cycle. We've been trying to conceive ever since, but unfortunately, my husband had radiation for thyroid cancer right as my cycles returned, and that can temporarily lower sperm count. =( However, it's been 6 months now, so we're hoping he should be back to normal soon. Anyways, I need somewhere to talk about this stuff w/o boring everyone around me!

Also, I am having a weird cycle this month, worried that it might be my first anovulatory cycle ever. =( Living Sky, hopefully it will just turn out to be a very late temp shift, like you had...I also did OPKs, which are usually pretty clear for me, but this time I never got a true positive, although I marked one test as positive when the next day's was almost invisible...I almost concluded yesterday that my thermometer just needs a new battery, ha ha. Any thoughts on this chart? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3c2f22

Congratulations to all the recent BFPs! Hopefully I will get one soon, too...

heatheresc - Ok, I'll stop complaining about my chart! I'd be tempted to believe that you're right about your thermometer needing a new battery. Could you pick up a new thermometer and use both for a while to see what you get?

Welcome!

I added you to the list in 2WW.  (Hopefully you did O afterall.)  Let me know if you want to be somewhere else.

Okay ladies, tomorrow is the last day of June!  Who would like to start the July thread in a couple of days?  I can PM you directions if necessary.  It's not difficult to maintain.

Did I scare everyone away?

I'm CD11 today and anticipate O'ing in the next few days.  I've got baby fever bad!  It's going to be difficult BDing this week.  We'll be traveling and staying in small cabin with another family part of the time.  Then we'll be camping in an RV with our 4 kids.  That one will be a little tougher.

Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for the condolences, LivingSky! My chart has gotten even worse since I posted on Thursday. Friday my temp went slightly up, and FertilityFriend decided I ovulated last Sunday, which would've been pretty good, timing wise. But today my temp was down really low, so they gave me this warning that they were going to recalculate, and took away my cross-hairs! On the plus side, they offered me a few days free subscription to the VIP version. =)

JR's mom, good luck with your timing this month! That is hard! I feel like visitors have messed up our optimal timing for the last couple of months, too. Boo! I would offer to do the thread monitoring, but I don't feel comfotable since I am not been a regular poster on teh board.

I'm back.  Well sort of.  I've been miscarrying over the past two days and I'm not sure what's next in our future.  We definately won't be trying again in the immediate future.  Could you remove me from success stories please?  I don't think I'll be around much over the next couple of months either.

I'm so sorry, wp135. My thoughts are with you.

Got a positive OPK this morning on CD12.  Seemed early to me but I guess it's about right.  So we BD for the next two days and hopefully we won't have to worry about it while we're traveling.  I'll keep testing until I get a negative OPK to be sure.

wp135, I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself! I understand needing to take a break. hug.gif Come back when you feel ready!

jr'smom, happy BDing!

heather, welcome!

LivingSky, I'll tww with you. I hope your timing was good!

Lynann, sounds like we're twwing together, too. Good luck to you! smile.gif

Umma, sorry about the spotting. I have been having several days of spotting too: I chalk it up to nursing hormones. I'm not sure what it means for my fertility at this point.

I know I haven't posted much, especially since last month we took a break. I'm lurking and cheering you all on. We're in a tww with what I think might be ok timing, but I'm trying not to think about it because this really could be another 30 cycles or more of trying for us. DD is nursing strong, and I'm home for summer vacation so no more pumping. She stood all by herself for about 5 seconds today. It's very exciting! love.gif OK, back to lurking. innocent.gif

wp135: So, so sorry for your loss. We all completely understand if you need a break for a while!

Tear78: Well, I'm definitely in the 2ww, but I still don't have a clue when I ovulated. If I ovulated around CD20-21, which is when it felt like I ovulated and I had good CM, then we had great timing. If I ovulated around CD25, which is what FF seems to be thinking, then we have no chance at all. I kind of think my chart is just doing that wierd jagged rise that tends to screw FF up, but I might just be thinking that because it gives me a chance. Anyway, I guess time will tell.

We've had crazy storms here the last week. Our water pump kicked the bucket so we had no water at home for 4 days, no power for half a day, wind, lightning and hail that took out a bunch of our trees, something living in our yard that's killing my chickens, a huge mix up with my DH and my vet that could end up costing two of my horses their pregnancies, and to top it off, my mom has to go in for a biopsy for suspected breast cancer. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. On the bright side, I haven't been obsessing about the 2ww. eyesroll.gif

Can you move me to Waiting to catch the First PP egg. Also Add ds 15mo.

LivingSky, don't worry about your chart. I gave up on trying to understand my cycles and look for explanations and patterns after so many cycles TTC. Our RE was always trying to convince me that scientists really don't fully understand the reproductive system, which is probably why there are so many cases of unexplained infertility, and why some people get pregnant as soon as they stop trying. Anyway, she was always telling me to stop trying to understand/explain what happened and just trust that we were doing everything we could. That's why I probably won't try charting again, because it threw me into hyper-analyze mode. I'll used ovulation sticks if necessary. Anyway, my point is I would trust your gut if you think you o'd with good timing. love.gif

Updated page 1 up to this point.

I O'ed today, so I happily enter the 2WW.  I'm always so optimistic at this point.  It's next week I hate when I start testing too early and see negatives and then keep seeing negatives until AF shows up. irked.gif   But right now it's all sunshine and rainbows with just the prospect that I may get pregnant!  love.gif

I'm going out of town tomorrow so I won't be able to update the thread for a week.  I'm not starting a July thread because I'm also leaving town for 2 weeks at the end of July.  I don't mind updating this one when I can...I just won't be around much to do it this month.  Good luch everyone!  I hope to come home to LOTS of good news from you ladies AKA BFPs!!!

jr'smom, I can do the thread this month.  I will be away for a bit at the end of the month, beginning of August but around otherwise.  Can you PM me with instructions?

AND, I'm officially TTC#2! joy.gifNo more waiting to be ready!!

AF arrived on CD29, which is great since I think I O'd on day 15.

So, I can be changed to waiting to O, DS aged 23 months.
