We decided on a name: Crosby Emet (pronounced Eh-met).
I have only gotten to see him in person, once. My bp is still so high that I can't do anything without getting very sick from it. But DH is going twice a day (that's all we get with him). In fact, he told them yesterday that when I came up I was going to do some kanga care. They seemed surprised. LOL. The Asians are conformists so they arent used to anyone saying anything different.
Yes, VERY fast labor. 1 1/2 hours.
On sunday I began having some upper quadrant pains which are a bad sign of HELLP or preeclampsia ( I cant seem to figure out the difference). Went in and they did a sono to check things. Said the fluid levels had gotten low and though the baby seemed to be growing fine we needed to keep an eye on it. I also had too much fluid on my abdomen and a blood clot on the placenta. ACK.
Back into the hospital. Gave me a steroid shot at that time. Was suppose to get one 12 hours later.
I didnt recognize I was in laobr...okay, truthfully, i was in flat out denial. I could not believe I was in labor. So I just went with it.
