I am in Wayne County, NC and currently seeing a set of CNM's in Pitt County (Greenville OB) they will not do homebirths and I didn't realize that some CNM's would do homebirth and that they can obviously accept medicaid.

Can anyone help me track down one within 2 hours of me ?? Thank You so so so much !!

In greenville there is a free standing birthing center with an amazing midwife Amy lealand. I gave birth there but she also does home birth! Blessed Birth's birthing center. You can find her info on her web page smile.gif

Does anyone have more to say about Blessed Births/Amy Leland (or any other midwife attended options)?  I have heard very mixed things...am looking for a new care provider at 22 weeks after a horrifying experience with my homebirth midwife...
