I did the initial blood work my midwife does, checked iron, stds, hormone levels, etc.  All normal and lovely.

I had an US early, which i normally don't do but like PP, I lost a baby before and really needed to see that this one was alive.

 

I check my urine every appt and I'm fine with that.  I will do the anatomy scan at 18-19 weeks.  I don't really do anything else. I won't do the glucose challenge, hell no.  My midwife wouldn't even try to make me weigh myself if I didn't want to, so I am comfortable getting my needs met with her.
