We just got a minivan in March, and for all you mama's looking to upgrade and not sure about an SUV or a minivan, I have to say... I am LOVING that I don't have to worry about DD slamming the car door into other cars when she gets out. Also the auto open door thing on the keyfob is GENIUS.

(Though I have to admit, coming from a jetta, I do feel like I'm driving a tank a bit still)

I'm glad to hear a positive review of the Mazda5 because that is looking like our best option. I know two families who had ones and they both hated it because it was always in the shop. It probably goes year-by-year though.

I like our Ford Windstar, I think it's an '02. Just paid it off a couple months ago (bought 2.5 years ago). Never had anything significant break yet, only needs oil changes and soon new tires and brakes. I'm most comfortable driving the van now, high up and big windows means I see everything, and other drivers give more respect to big vehicles. It turns pretty tightly too so it isn't harder to park.

Hi there! My dds are 4 and 22 months. The girls are 26 months apart and this one will be just about 29 months younger than dd2. I like the age spread!
