Baby position VENT - Page 2

ibkl - glad you found someone and can at least give it a try!  I hope it works.

I had my CST appt today and enjoyed it.  Baby moved around and gave a few kicks.  She says that baby is a great position and estimated how much baby will weigh. I wish she hadn't done that.  I'm hoping for baby to be 8 pounds something, and not 9 lbs or more.

all of my babies have been over 9 lbs, and my theory is fat squishes and then makes for beautiful little rolls. Really it only matters  if they've got big heads.

I am having my first Crainal Sacral Therapy today. At this point, I'd be thrilled if the baby turns, but what I want even more is just some peace in my mind. I am totally consumed even though I told myself I should not be. I want to cry, but I just haven't had the time or space. I don't know what to do!

cheryllynn: the therapy was very peaceful. The practioner is a VERY peaceful and calming person. We did a lot of talking before and after. I enjoyed the treatment. We will see whether it brings change....

She had one suggestion for why the 2nd 2 are different from the 1st that kind of makes me feel better:

I had a lot of back pain and discomfort with #1. I was "proactive" and sought to stabilize my core so I would avoid the pain with #2 and #3. CST suggested that perhaps I was out of alignment to begin with and instead of #1 being positioned wrong, I compensated resulting in pain/discomfort. Since I didn't get treatment for the alignment before I worked on strengthening, I may have just locked things up in an out of alignment sort of way. She is hoping her work along with the chiropractic will help the alignment.

Thanks! I read this. I am definitely grateful for having had my natural birth for DS but then it kind of shows 1st hand the experience missing when you need a c-section.
