I Dont feel "pregnant" anymore :(

This last week has been CRAZY! DD was hospitalized for seizures and what we thought was the tumor coming back......after a LONG 3 days we came home happier than we went in learning that the tumor was completely gone!! joy.gif

BUT I'm not sure if the stress has taken a toll or what. My breasts are not sore anymore, and i am having cramping. DH and i just tried to dtd and it was horribly painful. Obviously we stopped immediately, but im still so nervous. I don't remember if my breasts where sore the whole time last time or not. I will be 9 weeks tomorrow, and I have read that symptoms can start to change about now. I am still having morning sickness, but i just don't FEEL pregnant anymore the way i did a few weeks ago. Could it just be that i am getting used to it?

9 weeks is definitely a time when breast soreness could be easing off - mine did around there, too.  And cramping can also be totally normal.  If you're worried though - you should just call your midwife - I think it's always just better to call with your concerns, rather than worrying.  xox

Thanks for responding, i think i may have just psyched myself out. Maybe just a lot of emotions, im having minor braxton hicks again today, which i have been having for the last few weeks, and morning sickness is obviously still here. I have an appt with my OB on tuesdays anyway, ill just wait. May just be a big emotional wreck lol.

I remember hitting a similar spot 1st tri w ds, where the symptoms were subsiding and it made me kinda worry abt hcg dropping, but nope!

Hopefully you're just coming out of the woods on the rougher early symptoms joy.gif

I'm glad to hear the news turned out tobe really good with your daughter!

great news about your daughter! My guess is you may not have been so consumed with the new babe because you know that one is safe and sound. Your brave LO was in the hospital and that takes it's toll! It's incredible what you guys are dealing with.

Re: very painful DTD around 9 weeks - i had this with DD1.  It was (turned out later at an 11 week scan) a corpus luteum cyst.  It was 7cm x 5cm when i was scanned, but it went away on it's own.

Hope you feel better soon.

GoBecGo, interesting you should say that, last year i had a CT scan done to look at some cysts, and i know that they can get much larger when your pregnant so it will be interesting to see what the Dr says tomorrow.

Thanks everyone!!!

Great news about your daughter!

I went through the same thing at 9 weeks (just last week).  Symptoms were fading, was cramping and had severe stabbing/cramping on my right side.  It turns out that I have a corpus luteum cyst that is likely aggravating scar tissue from my surgery and there was a bit of blood surrounding that ovary.  Everything is fine with baby.  The pain has died down a bit now.

How are you feeling now?  Were you able to talk to your OB yesterday?

Thanks again!

I had my appointment yesterday, everything was completely fine! I saw a heartbeat and the baby moving. As for the pain, I have a retroverted uterus so that's why it was so painful! Everything is just perfect.
