Celebrating 10th birthday

DS is celebrating his 10th birthday this month and I was thinking of doing something special, though not necessarily expensive.  Just seems like a decade on this earth is something nice to celebrate.  Anyone do anything special for their child's 10th birthday?

For our kids' 10th birthdays we got them their own bank account and debit card.  To us, that was a "big kid" deal and a sign that they were growing up and we trusted them with a big thing.

I have a girl, but we are going to do a slumber party at our house to celebrate and I am taking her to get a manicure and pedicure when she turns ten. It is a few months away but she has been planning it for months. She started talking about things she wanted to do for her next birthday right after turning nine and we came up with something we could both agree on shortly after.

I love the idea of putting 10 10's in his bank account.  He'd get a kick out of that.  

I have a million and one ideas for my daughter.  Yet, can't get one idea of my son.  Why are boys so much harder?  LOL
