Kingfisher Academy in Atlanta

Hello,

This is probably a long shot but I was hoping to find someone here who knows about this school. They are moving from East Atlanta to Tucker and we are seriously considering it for our son for the fall. But, I don't know anyone who has any first-hand experience with them. Here is the website: http://www.kingfisheracademy.org/. They are part of the Peace School Movement and Environmental Educator's Alliance.

Thanks!

My goddaughter went there for two preschool years. A bit chaotic. Great community spirit. Some families had trouble with the director. My goddaughter was behind acdademically when she hut Kindergarden. Neighborhood Charter and Burgess Peterson are great public options. The friends school in Decatur is wonderful as is the Children's School across from Piedmont Park.nderga

Thanks for your reply. I had actually gotten in touch with a former parent and she had great things to say about it. She said her children were well prepared academically when they went to middle school after doing elementary there. She did say they were disorganized, but she wasn't too bothered by it. We live in Tucker so the other schools you mention aren't in our area, other than The Friends School which starts in K, my son is 4.
