This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Joshua Aaron born 4/15/04
8 lbs 8oz 21.5" apgar 9.9
Fastest labor/deliv yet for me! Started induction at 8:30am and he arrived at 12:30pm. Healthy and nursing well.
Peach fuzz dark brown hair. Isn't opening his eyes big enough to tell the color yet. Up all night - is either nursing or fussing. Sleeps all day! Milk just came in today so hopefully that will help him sleep tonight. VERY cute!

Valeska Shawn Noelle Patterson
9:30 pm 4/16/04, waterbirth.
She was 21.5" and 7lbs12oz.
Short birth story: (no long version) NAK'ing.
Lost plug that morning and we went to my m/w appt. around noon. She said my cervix was ready and asked if I wanted to be stripped, b/c I would go. I said "Is the pope catholic? Let's do it." We went to get a suite at a nearby hotel to stay until contrax became regular and to house MIL, kids, sister and stepmom. At 4pm they evened up and became somewhat painful. Went to birth center and Rasmia said I was 4cm. 8:30pm water broke. 9:10 started pushing. 9:30 her head popped out like an orange quickly followed by the rest. She was blue and limp. Took her a few minutes to wake up then she immediately started nursing, and honest, hasn't stopped!
For some reason this baby hurt worse than my 9 pounder--feels like someone put me in a meat packer and set it to "paddle"--must be age.

Can I chime in? (I'm a hopeless lurker...) And I have to tell all...
Cora was born on April 12 at 3:31 in the afternoon -- my first daytime birth! My water broke at 2:30 pm, while I was at the grocery store with my 4 yr old daughter. I called my husband from the store to tell him to call the midwives (planned homebirth), but he wasn't home- he was out walking with our 6 yr old daughter. So I raced home with Freya, praying I wouldn't birth in the car (Freya was born about 50 min after my water broke). Regular (and spectacularly painful) contrax started at 5 min to 3 (was home by then and getting in the tub), midwife and husband arrived at about 3:10, and Cora was born at 3:31! (waterbirth in the tub). Freya watched the whole thing very nonchalantly, and Sabina played downstairs with the midwife's children (she was busy making a birth day card- she's very 'craft-y'). It was a wonderful birth and Cora is a dreamy baby. Had to share my whole story... I'm so happy to see so many of the April moms have had their babies!
Happy nursing to all,
Kim

harrison mcgregor
8 lbs 11 oz, 22 inches long
30 hour hellish labor, 24 hours natural and very painful, at transition for 12 hours, broke water halfway through that twelve, never got past 7cm in 24 hours, and was dying by that point. got an epidural, thank the lord, pitocin got me to 10 in a couple of hours, pushing didnt work, doc turned him face down manually, then tried forcepts, but that baby's head was not going to fit past my pelvic bone. so 29 hours later after trying everything I had an emergency c section. luckily because it was a small hospital, it was right down the hall and I got my babe right after.
hes a doll and worth it of course, although if you'd asked me in the middle of that Id probably have said "send him back!!!!!!"
I had no idea how painful it would be.
dark blue eyes
dark hair
9 lbs already
smiling all the time
very good slleper and eater

My baby, due April 13th, decided to beat the Spring rush and came on February 22nd! After 3 weeks in Neonatal Intensive Care, Special Care Baby Units and etc., she is now home with her big brother being fed expressed breast milk through her nasogastral tube until she is strong enough to breastfeed exclusively. We are thankful that she is doing so well!

Don't know what thread this belongs in but just happened to see your message today...I had this spotting in the early stages with both my pregnancies with my son and my daughter. I think it is implantation bleeding, as you say, but best thing to do is probably take an ept test at home or go to your doctor to confirm that you are pregnant. Most ept's are quite effective at an early date...just read the boxes for how early they work! All the best!
