Hello Everyone!
I am so glad to be connecting with you all virtually! I gave birth a month ago to my first child who surprised us coming 15 weeks early entering the world at 25 weeks! I am doing well and he is very well taken care of at a local hospital's NICU. I posted to the Preemie Parenting and NICU forum earlier today and am wondering if I might connect with people via a due date club. Would you recommend talking with people in the August 2012 group, which was my original due date or the May 2012 group when he actually came, a little of both perhaps or are there any other groups (I am definitely going to check out Breastfeeding) you would suggest getting plugged into as I begin posting?
I appreciate this forum because everyone's wisdom is so supportive. I am surrounded by a lot of love from my family and friends and also am looking forward to reaching out even more for your support during this challenging time for me and my partner visiting our son in the NICU and jumping head first into parenting there changing diapers, holding him, feeding him... very differently than we had expected! =)
