First Public Inactivist Moment

Ok, Saturday will be my very very first Public intavistic action. I am volunteering for a booth at a local convention. If anyone has any helpful hints or tips for me, I am all ears :)

Oh, I live in pro-circ area.

How wonderful!! thumb.gif If you don't get any input from a community member you might try posting to the Marilyn Milos forum and ask her for advice. She'd surely have some words of wisdom.

How did it go?  I hope it was a pleasant experience for you.

If you're willing, would you tell us about it?  What do you think helped in talking to those for circ?  What do you wish you'd done differently?

I'm genuinely curious since I don't know that I've prevented one boy I've known from being cut.  I'd like to change that ;-).

Thanks & thank you for volunteering your time to protect babies!

I ended up having a cold. Yeah that's my kind of luck.

I doubt I have saved one boy with my very vague "research everything" comment. I'm trying to get better at this. It's the area I have chosen to live in. I realize this. However, that means I have a potential to cause a great change. Just like my hero: Marilyn Milos. I do love her :)

Indeed! And I still encourage you to reach out to Marilyn. She may have some wonderful suggestions for you for intactivism. thumb.gif
