MDC isn't going to hold posters to a specific standard when they post links, beyond our UA.  That is a level of moderation we are not willing to enforce board wide. Single debate threads or other solitary endeavors are one thing, but we don't have the time or the manpower to enforce that.  At least not in the way you are discussing it....we do have sites that we will actively prevent people from posting, but on the whole, no, we don't police links that closely.

I'm not talking just about links. Any change in what are and are not considered acceptable sources would have to come with a change in the nature of the inquiry being conducted. It wouldn't make any sense to police links but still host discussions where various unscientific ideas are considered equally valid as well-proven scientific theories.
