Mommy lead weaning?

I'm sad to say that I am weaning myself from pumping.  I've been exclusively pumping for the majority of 6 months now and I decided that it's time for me stop for a couple of reasons.  If I didn't have to take some much needed medication, I would've liked to continue pumping for another 6 months.  I started at the end of May, and I've been eliminating some of my pumping sessions.  It's hard the first day, the pains are intense but it's better the next day and the next.  I'm currently down to pumping 2 times a day and it's at home which I love.  I was brining my pump to work (I work full-time) and having to pump at work.  It was taking me about 30-40 minutes to pump so I'm looking forward to not having to take the time to do it.  I am still getting some pains but they are not as intense.  I've noticed my milk has changed a little too, it looks more watery.  My son is currently drinking a lot of milk but he's slowly eating solids.  I have an inventory of frozen breastmilk left but once it's gone, I will have to resort to formula. I am very sad about giving him formula but I am proud for pumping for 6 months. It hasn't been easy.

hug2.gif  I hope you're doing okay, Lydiafm.  Did you have someone check on the medication in Hale's?  A lot of doctors are misinformed when it comes to medications and nursing.
