Does anyone have any experience with this website at all? I'm not usually a fan of things that are so pink and girly but dd saw an ad for this and really wants to use it. It's marketed to home schoolers.

I haven't used it, but it doesn't sound bad.  And, the price is minimal too--especially if they really have no ads on the site.  I think I might do the free trial and see how I like it.  We could use something "new" online.

My daughter LOVES Always Icecream.
We had the opportunity to review this website last year and I honestly didn't expect her to like it.  In the past, when I've been asked to review online programs, she has always been resistant.  I sat her down in front of it, and she had so much fun with it.  She's been a member for about a year now and she still hasn't tired of it.

Always Icecream (and it's "Brother site" for boys, Clever Dragons) are always doing things to make the site more appealing and fun for the kids - adding new games, graphics, etc.
In fact, we liked it so much that a few months ago, when I heard that they were looking for a few people to join their team and help with site moderation and customer service, I applied for the job!

Like the previous poster said, try the free trial and see what your daughter thinks.  Just remember, with the free trial, you don't get access to EVERYTHING, it's just a sample.  So, know that if she likes what she sees, a paid membership will be even more fun!

Oh, I should have included that there are no ads on the site, so you don't have to worry about your child clicking through to another site that might not be safe.

And, as a moderator, I can tell you that we watch the posts very closely.
