Any moms over 35?

I'm 41 and this is our 4th baby, 6th pregnancy. I'll be barely 42 when we have this wee one. Any other "advanced aged" mamas out there? My OB & midwife laugh at that term, but they still use it:) LOL

I'm 36, and will turn 37 in December. Pretty sure my midwife laughs at the "AMA" too. This is my 7th pregnancy, but my first official pregnancy being AMA....as I gave birth 11 days before I turned 35 last time :)

Hi! Iam 43, I'll be 44 when I deliver. This is my fourth and I am ver excited, although I have to admit I am afraid of miscarrying.

I will be turning 35 in November, so just squeaking over the line into AMA when I deliver.

I'm 36, this is my 13th pregnancy and hopefully my sixth child. I haven't seen my midwife yet, I didn't know I'm at an advanced maternal age, but I'm too old for this so I believe it ;-)

I am a couple weeks from being 39 and this is pregnancy 4(hopefully baby 3). I was 37 when ds was born and the pregnancy was harder for me than with dd at age 33, BUT it was mostly during a long snowy winter when my dh was deployed and my dd i and seemed.to catch every bug that existed that year (plus i was running the.farm, so there was never a respite) (wah wah wah
...poor me smile.gif ) . But really the actual pregnancy wasn't harder. Just worse external circumstances.

I am 41 and will be 42 when this baby comes. I had my son at 37 and my daughter a VBAC at 39. Age ain't nothing but a number!

I'm 37, and I'll be 38 when baby is born.

I had my daughter when I was 31. It was a midwife assisted caesarean and I'm hoping for a VBAC this time.

I am 41 and will be 42 when this baby is born.  This will be baby number 5 for me and baby number 3 for my bf and the first for us together.  I am a bit afraid of miscarriage but am trying to stay positive.

We're going for an HBAC with this one. All my babies were born in my 30's (30, 36 & 39) & super healthy. I don't have any fear due to my age really. I am a way better parent now than I could have ever been in my 20's and feel more secure with my parenting style. Now, I do have a fear of another miscarriage since our last one was in April 2012.

I'll be 40 when this on is born...I was 35 when DS was born and now I'm doing this again...almost exactly 5years later.  LOL

I am 37 and will be 38 when this wee one makes an appearance! It's funny because I work with a lot of women who have had babies "later in life (!!)". My first pregnancy ( at 33) was lovely and healthy so I have no doubt it will go that way again! You are all amazing!

41 years here!!   Woo hoo..there are so many of us!!!  I feel the healthiest I have ever been...and so excited to have another one.joy.gif ( I love those little guys jumping around being joyous)

I'm 38. Was 36 when Caitlin was born. I don't have any big worries about my age, but opted for amnio last time around and will do CVS this time. My husband and I really appreciate the peace of mind it offers since chromosomal abnormalities do increase with maternal age.
