Holy fast labor! Teddy is here! 39 weeks 1 day « Back to Group Discussions

Shoosh.  Precipitous labor indeed.  Woke up with some bleeding that I thought was my water breaking, so a little strange...not just bloody show...then started to have some contractions, totally bearable, walking and talking through them, listening to music, timing them...they were 2  minutes apart form the start, but then got a little further apart, 3ish, so I thought maybe it was waning, but then my water broke...and that's when real contractions started...headed to the hospital right away, had my little guy about 40 minutes after I got there...crazy intense, went from 5cm and -2 station upon arrival to 10 and +2 20-30 minutes later.  Shoosh!  Quite a final labor for us!  He is a dream and we are in love...and recovering from the speedy arrival! 8lbs 3 oz, 21 inches of joy!
