Been reading here for a few years and finally decided to join in... so I did that yesterday. I tried to send a PM today to someone but when I try to send it, it says permission denied, please login.... but I am logged in.

We have restrictions set for new members on sending PMs. once you have 10 posts and have been registered for 14 days you will be able to use the PM system.

Thanks for the answer! Kind of a bummer to have to wait, but I totally understand why it is set up that way.... So many spammers out there. Jerks. Making things crappy for the good folks out there. Lol oh well I will just have to be patient. Thanks again!

So you have to meet both the 10 posts and the length of membership to send PMs?  I've had three posts (well this is four) and I've been a member several months and I still can't PM?  I just need to make more posts?

BTW - 10 posts is a bit excessive.  If you guys could reduce it to 5, that would be more reasonable.  It would prevent unnecessary postings.
