So..... nobody's had a baby yet? Really? « Back to Group Discussions

In my last DDC I was one of the first to have my baby, because my EDD was September 2 and he arrived on August 12.  But still..... I would have thought that some of you early July mamas would be snuggling babies by now.

So what's up?  Has no one really had a baby yet from July?

Nope, I'm one of the early ones (July 4th... or 2nd by other calculations) and baby is still hanging out in here.

I hang out here because I assume baby will be born in July.  I am due June 28th though.  The June DDC started popping babies out the last week of May.

I've been wondering the same thing!  I'm so excited to start reading birth stories from this group - I've been reading May & June's!  I'm due the 10th, but DS was early, so we shall see.

There is a full moon on July 3 - I wonder if that will do anything to get our group started! :)

I know!  I think the full moon thing should apply BIG time for us, since the Sun is in Cancer, which is ruled by the moon.  I have totally been expecting mine on that full moon, although now I think it will be sooner.  I imagine mine will likely be born in June, though the doctor and I could be totally wrong about that!  I'm ready for someone to go, that's for sure!

I'm surprised too! I'm on another group on FB and toooons of the ladies in our DDC have had babies and some are in labour as I type this! I went in to my appointment the day before yesterday and they think I'll go within the next two weeks! We'll see! I do feel like I'm getting closer though!

I'm due around the 4th and figured the full moon would help out and the baby wouldn't come any sooner.

I am excited to start hearing of more births the closer it gets to July.

A friend from my last DDC but was due 2 days before me just gave birth! I don't think that I will go until July but we shall see.

I feel like the end of June is totally dragging. It seems like it should be July already!

I will be really surprised if mine doesn't show up in the next few days.

My EDD is July 1st. I am ready, but not feeling super ripe (not miserable enough yet?). I am surprised no one else has birthed yet too! My first was two weeks early, second ten days late, both were 8# 15 oz, so maybe this babe is just waiting to be 8.15 and she'll come!

I must have missed Jodi's announcement, was thinking that we had gotten through with no preemies in the group. Hope her and baby are doing okay.

We are due the 3rd but I really have no clue when to expect her. I have always gone "late" based on lmp but I have long cycles, except this time I was completetly out 9f whack after my miscarriage and don't have a clue when lmp was so we are going of 1st tri us dating. I told her next Tuesday would be good because that was her grandpa we are naming her afters birthday. But I won't be surprised if I am still pregant three weeks from now. As it is my mil who is supposed to watch my kids is out of state right now.

I missed the announcement from FreeGirl as well- I have been so sick this pregnancy I haven't been hanging around much.  But I am SHOCKED that none of the early July mamas have gone yet- we're only 10 days away from the start of the month!

Can't wait to read the announcements and hear the names when these babies finally start making it earthbound.

In the meantime, I'll be hanging out with my July 28 EDD.

I'm so ready for baby boy to make his appearance, but I'm not getting my hopes up. My dd came at 40 weeks 4 days, and I am only 38 weeks. I feel like he is going to pop out at any time because he is so low!!

My original EDD was the 8th and its been rolled back to the 1st...I feel so ready to go! Huge, cumbersome, non-stop Braxton Hicks and cramping as well as round ligament pain and heartburn. BUT as much as I am over pregnancy I really want a July baby...so, I continue to wait it out in the 90 degree heat we're having. Good luck ladies- I can't wait to start reading the birth stories!

I had my twins June 19, we've just been crazy and I haven't posted everywhere. They were born at 34 w 4 d and are in the NICU for a few days more, to get their temps regulated and get better at eating. Will update better later! Congrats to FG, too!
