Beth Moore

Has anyone done a Beth Moore Bible study, specifically The Inheritance bible study? 

I started it with some other moms a few weeks ago and am not sure how i feel about it.

I asked about her in the crunchy christian moms thead. I didn't get very good feed back. I myself did go to one lesson and did not like it to much.

She tends to take liberties theologically and I have no idea where she is getting some of her information.  She speaks with confidence though and is very engaging so it is easy to really enjoy her stuff an hard to ask yourself "where is she getting this information?  what kind of training does she have?  on what authority is she teaching these things and is she right?"

right doctrine is very important to me and I decided she was teaching too many things that had no scholastic, doctrinal or Traditional merit.  My only conclusion is that she was making stuff up or passing on random misinformation.  But doing it with so much charm and cuteness that no one cared.

I did her Ascent Psalms study (on my own, with the workbook) 2 years ago and I absoluitely loved it ..... it was exactly what I needed at that time in my life, and I go back to it often.

I've had the "Breaking Free" workbook for a couple of years now, and just can't seem to get into it. I figure it's just not the right time.

Spritiually speaking, she's a bit over-the-top in her personal methods of worship for m taste, but I do love the way the workbook studies are set up.
