Ok, for the first 10 - 15 minutes I have been in denial. But, I keep leaking fluid, with occasional gushes. Good news is that it is clear. Not so good is that I'm on my second towel. I am 35 weeks 6 days today. I am in between clinics and not sure exactly what to do. I'm waiting for my doula to call me to help me sort this out. I am having NO cramps or any feelings that my birthing time is near.
Pretty sure water broke
I've continued to leak/gush for two hours now. I think of everything I feel the worst about not yet having a name... We are packing, my new clinic WILL take me even though they have a 36 week cutoff. My doula is on board, my birth photographer will try to make it. We're washing the bassinet sheets - yes - doing laundry. I'm thinking we'll head over to the clinic around noon and make it there before 1. So no rush hour traffic!
Sending positive thoughts your way! How exciting!
My water broke with DS at either 35+5 or 36+5 (can't remember now 4 years later!) but early nonetheless. Like you, I was in denial as well! I remember sitting in the nursery, wearing Depends because I was gushing so much, and frantically ordering my husband around to do laundry, pack bags for the babe and for me, etc etc etc.
And all turned out fine. He was 7 lbs 8 oz and had to spend a couple of nights in the NICU, but mainly due to ultraconservative docs. He was fine.
