Vancouver Tribe - Camping and/or hiking with children (looking for groups, others)

Hello,

I have an 11 yr old son and 7 yr old daughter and really want to do some camping with them and other families. Are there any groups that exist (ie "meetups" or other) that I can join? I have some friends who camp but it always seems our schedules don't coincide. I'd love to hear from other in Vancouver about ideas.
