miekka is a big girl. 90th percentile for weight, 98th percentile for height. she's wearing size 2T training underwear and they fit just fine. oh, and she is suddenly SO close to sitting unassisted... crazy.
My girl was 97th for height, 90th for weight, and 50th for head at 2 months. 4 month appt is probs next week so I'm curious where she'll be on the charts.
Not close to sitting up unassisted but rolled over at 2 weeks and can roll both ways. She also inches like a worm when she on her tummy and if I put her down on her tummy mat and look away, when I look back she'll be in the complete opposite direction. She seems to only do that when I'm not looking...
DS is pulling up the rear here around the 25th percentile, but so strong. I can't believe what he can do. We were playing on the bed a couple weeks ago and he did a full unassisted sit up from laying flat...crazy. Of course he couldn't stop once he got up so he face planted into the bed. Yesterday he was sitting on the table playing with a bag of potatoes and when I picked him up he kept holding onto the bag. I mean he was holding a 3lb bag of 'tatoes one handed in midair! I was worried he was going to dislocate his shoulder or something.
We are at 75% for height and head, and 50% for weight- even though he looks like a totally chunker, he's longer and leaning than I was expecting. Actually, he weighs less than I was expecting at this point- gained less than 1/2 a pound in the last 3 weeks. Dr wasn't worried, so I will try not to be either...
This seriously cracks me up. At first, I was reading it as bag of potato chips.
As for percentile, the funny thing is, my son was never even on the charts for weight. At his 4 month appt, he was in the 90% for length (26 inches).
But for weight, he came in at 21 lbs 3ozs!! He's had his own line aboe the 95% line since birth. I knew he was just over 20, but didn't think that much. Totally ridiculous. He is no where near rolling over. Not surprising considering how hard it's gonna be to roll his chub over. haha!
I know. Just like his bigger brother, they both gained 10 lbs by their 4 month appt. It's just this one started out at 11 lbs. He'll probably end up growing up to be a string bean.
Holy smokes! 19 and 21 lbs! Having a 15 lb four month old blows my mind. I can't even imagine 20lbs. LOL
My daughter was always like 10-20% in weight. And now she's in the 5% at 32lbs (with clothes and shoes) at 4 years and 8 months. LOL So DS is like a GIANT in comparison but he's coming in at 50% all around.
