Health monitor bracelet for babies - product concept

Hi, I'm doing a final research project for a final Stanford class (venture-lab.org), which also became my passion. We are developing concept of a health monitor bracelet, designed for sick patients, elders and babies. It keeps track on the patients vital signals and alert you upon critical events. Our goal is to help parents to monitor their babies’, children to monitor their parents health and hospitals to monitor their patients with highest reliance but least amount of effort. 

Think of an On-Star system for your body designed to send alerts when necessary.

Currently we working on measuring heart rythm, pulse, movements, fall and tremor detection. I'm trying to find out how much interest this product will generate. Here is the website to leave any comments:

Didn't click the link, but it doesn't sound like something I would need for a heathy full term baby.  I keep my babies close by at all times, that's how I monitor my babies.  :)

I agree, but I think the idea is meant to be used on sick babies in the hospital?  But of course I can see this getting blown out of proportion if it ever does hit the market and is available to the public, just another reason for parents to justify leaving their babies in the other room for hours and thinking it is just fine.  I certainly wouldnt buy it to have at my house, but if my baby was really sick in the hospital, I may or may not consent to its use.  I just dont like the idea of all the technological stuff, I'd have to know what kind of EMF it generates, etc.
