SO tired! Anyone else? Any other symptoms? « Back to Group Discussions

I wake up tired - seriously! I swear, the pregnancy exhaustion is hitting harder with each kid... After the kids go to bed, DH and I watch movies, and I will be totally engrossed in the movie and all of a sudden be waking up - it is bizarre.

Also have had bouts of crampiness, and woke up this morning super nauseous. Oh, and getting really hot while sleeping.

What are your symptoms?

I never had any morning sickness with my other three preggos. I'm kinda looking forward to this one hitting me hard.. haha, maybe then I will be growing a girl...? I hate to even think it is possible!! 

I have had some cramping, and I am also pretty tired. But Nothing that knocks me off my feet yet.

Ugh, morning sickness. I have had 2 good weeks after finding out, usually, and then it kicks in. With DD, it was just horrible nausea all the time, I was wishing I would throw up because it was like being on the verge of throwing up all day. With one of my losses, it was even worse. With DS, it was awesome, just a little nausea at night. So I have no idea if it is going to be awful or tolerable!

I seriously have nothing! Well, maybe a bit of fatigue. I didn't have many symptoms early on with ds, but I know every pregnancy is different. I figure that I'll give it a few weeks and see what develops.

The first thing I noticed before I even got my bfp was cramping. It felt like different cramping than the typical AF cramps. I have little bouts of "morning sickness" more like random during the day or night sickness off and on but just recently.

Is anyone else still breastfeeding their other children if you have??? Because thats one of the first things I noticed was my nipples being more tender than normal when she'd first latch on. I plan to nurse through the pregnancy though :) at least I hope so unless she decides she done. She is 3 in December. I can't see it happening anytime soon though. :)

Still nursing both kids - DD nurses just before bed, DS nurses a lot. Nipples aren't sore (thankfully!) but my supply has dropped. I think I am going to try and wean DD by her birthday or thereabouts.

How great for you two! I'm actually looking forward to this LO so I can nurse again. DS weaned about 6 months ago, basically due to some work-related issues & me. My guess is that he would still be snacking and comfort nursing if it hadn't been for that. I'm excited to be a SAHM for the next one so we can take our time.

On another note, I think my sense of smell is heightened. It could be a fluke. I noticed yesterday that one of my dogs just really stunk, I mean, he always stinks, but this was a lot more than usual. Then today I was at the store and in the coffee aisle and it was overwhelming. Who knows.

I've been tired since Friday and my cramping has pretty much disappeared.  I'm nursing my 13mo but haven't noticed any changes yet.  We had started night weaning him a few days before finding out we are pregnant.  I'm off work for the summer soon and I just can't handle the thought of nursing all day again and all night right and that's how I felt before my BFP!

With DS I got all day nausea from 6-12 weeks but the first couple of weeks were the worst.  I really hope it's different this time.

I'm still breastfeeding my two year old  -  he eats almost no food so he's on the boob a LOT  -  and weirdly, since becoming pregnant the nipple discomfort has actually decreased. Yay!

Apart from that and the tiredness, my major symptoms have been the supervivid dreams that usually mean an imminent period, and big-time heartburn  -  always my first sign.

I got my wish, and threw up today. I'm hoping this is a good sign, since morning sickness is correlated with lower rates of miscarriage.

I'm nursing my two year old. I have not had increased nipple sensitivity yet, but I do plan to wean him anyway, though I'm going to wait to start until after 12 weeks. I tandem nursed him and his older sibling for a year, and I hated it. I started weaning him during my last pregnancy, and it was pretty easy, but then when I had the loss, I found nursing him comforting, and since he was still asking, we easily fell back into nursing frequently. If this pregnancy sticks, though, I know I don't want to tandem nurse, so we'll wean.

My breasts are HUGE and HEAVY. I have had AF type cramping on/off since 10DPO - mostly aching type cramping. Some sharper cramping today. And definitely a heightened sense of smell!

I was nursing my DD when I got pregnant last (back in December - ended in m/c @ 9wks) and she basically starting weaning herself as my supply bottomed out. She was only nursing 2 or 3 times a day anyway. She stopped completely at the end January @ 25months. I felt good about our nursing relationship and the end was her choice and not traumatic at all. I don't know that I could have nursed her a whole pregnancy anyway...it was so painful!

  Yes! This is rediculous. Even dh commented about it last night. Obviously my breasts got bigger when I was pregnant with ds, but not this early.I guess it's a good sign.

Big bazoonga boobs here, too. Just today! My 3 1/2 year old weaned a couple of months back, so my breasts had just gotten to the "new normal" phase. Back to milk-making!

I think my breasts have gotten bigger too. They're very sore and tender. My hormones are crazy and I'm super emotional. The worst thing so far is that whenever I change my daughter's dirty diapers, I gag and almost throw up. I never used to gag before! Poop was nothing to me. Now, I don't know if it's the smell or just the thought of getting it on me, but whatever it is, it makes me sick! I'm also feeling some fatigue, but it's not nearly as bad as with my last pregnancy...Not yet anyway, lol. I'm having some issues with being touched too. Anyone else experiencing this or experienced it with other pregnancies? I wasn't like that last time, so it's new for me.

I am exhausted! I agree that every kids you get more tired! I wake up in the morning more tired then I am when I go to bed,  I'm constantly peeing it seems and i have been a little nauseous on and off. I am still nursing my DD (16 month) and I think my supply has decreased because her nursing has increased (I didn't think that was possible she was nursing every two hours or so and now she wants it every half hour!!) but luckily I haven't had much soreness so it doesn't bother me cause I love to snuggle my baby :)

I am absolutely exhausted and have had to nap every day for the past week. This morning is the worst - I woke up and already feel like I've been hit by a truck. I also feel like I have a mild cold, which I'm taking as a good sign since I've heard of women having cold symptoms in early pregnancy. However, I start a new job next week and I'm going to miss my daily, unlimited naps! :)

Oddly enough, my boobs aren't incredibly sore. However, I am quite warm, my appetite has increased, and I'm so, so thirsty. 

No real nausea yet. Just a lot of (unpleasant) burping.

I am extremely thirsty too! And have to pee a lot. And seriously have already felt round ligament pains and woke up with my calf verging on a leg cramp last night. Seems way too early for stuff like that. I have had a few tired spells, but nothing too bad, i really hope it does not get to bad, i just have no down time during the day and I do not want to be miserable and grumpy with the rest of the kiddos. I am still nursing DD3 regularly. My nipples have been alright, but they have stared getting the tingly feeling again when they are full, which I have not noticed in a long time.

I'm not as tired as I thought actually! My first symptom was horrible gas pain, which has just gotten better these past two days, thank God. I'm peeing every 10 minutes it seems, which is driving me nuts since I can't sleep through the night. Been feeling a little nauseous here and there, but nothing major. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from now on.
