EDD March 13 (one day before ds’s!)

Your Name: I would like to remain anonymous, ClumsySugarPlum, Clumsy, CSP or something is great.

Age: 33

State or Country: The Great American West, -er suburban college town

How long it took to you to get your BFP: 2 months

What number child is this for you: 2

Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): dh, ds, 1 crazy 10 year old dog

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): afraid to say in case I jinx it

Birth Plans/Preferences: Our hospital is great and the nursing staff/ program have won many awards. As few interventions as possible would be nice. The bathtub for active labor is a must. I would like to walk more this time. We're continuing with the midwives we saw for my first pregnancy with ds.

Blog, website or the like: I know The Bump really commercializes pregnancy and birth, but I love their fruit chart. I’m planning on showing it to ds a lot after we tell him. http://pregnant.thebump.com/pregnancy/pregnancy-tools/articles/how-big-is-baby.aspx

Anything else you'd like to share: This is my first pregnancy after a loss last year, a very early m/c. I really enjoyed the Mothering forum when pregnant with ds, and since being back on the TTC side, have found a few really thoughtful threads addressing the spiritual side of creating a family and how we change both physically and mentally. I’m hoping to continue this healthy way of thinking here.

Nicole - are you going to MMC? I delivered ds there! We're considering a home birth this time, but will probably be back there if not.

So, I guess I'm here! After days of squinting at nearly-invisible lines, I got a positive on a digital test. Nothing like the word "Pregnant" staring you in the face to convince you that this might be really real after all :)

  • Age: 31
  • State or Country: PA
