Hi everyone, feel a little nervous joining as I JUST found out I am pregnant a few days ago and I'm only 4 weeks! Not to mention, this is my first. I haven't joined any website groups either, but this seems the most accepting of natural options and perhaps less mainstream than some of the other baby websites. Please tell me I'm right!

  • EDD: March 24, 2013 (by my calculations, could be wrong!)
  • Your Name: Sarah
  • Age: 29
  • State or Country: California
  • How long it took to you to get your BFP: First try, we weren't going to til Oct but were on vaca in Ireland and well, ya know!
  • What number child is this for you: 1st
  • Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Wonderful husband, two kitties, and one Black Lab.
  • Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): We are happy with either but have both been calling it "her" or "she" so I guess we think girl! For now. ha.
  • Birth Plans/Preferences: Not sure. As natural as possible but I'd prefer to be in some kind of medical environment because it is my first. But perhaps not a mainstream hospital.
  • Blog, website or the like:
  • Anything else you'd like to share: I'm just so so so excited. I've wanted this for so long and I feel so extremely blessed. I am also a little nervous now that something will go wrong. I am looking forward to learning from mamas with more experience so I can make educated decisions!

[*] EDD: March 26ish, 2013
[*] Your Name: Stephanie
[*] Age: 33
[*] State or Country: New York
[*] How long it took to you to get your BFP: I don't even really know, we were only loosely trying. 4 or 5 "tries"? After 2.5 years TTC DD, neither of us wanted to TTC but we knew we wanted another baby.
[*] What number child is this for you: 2nd
[*] Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Wonderful husband and a daughter who just turned 1 yesterday.
[*] Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): Healthy baby, that's all that matters. :-)
[*] Birth Plans/Preferences: Hoping to not be preeclamptic again, and hoping for an as natural as possible vbac. But really, healthy baby, healthy mama, healthy papa is all that matters.
[*] Anything else you'd like to share: dh and I are both so excited but so nervous. We have had three losses, including DD's twin, so we just hope so hard that this little one will be healthy and keep growing strong. DD was conceived through IVF, so neither of us really expected to get pregnant on our own, let again so quickly. You hear stories about this, and I was hoping that it would be true for us, but I just couldn't believe it. We had one blood draw and we're hoping to get another today or tomorrow. All the worry and angst of the first trimester is coming rushing back to me. I hope this little one is another fighter!

Thanks for letting me join!

Kalamos, wave.gifblowkiss.gif SO excited to be in a DDC with you. Let both our babies be sticky and healthy and strong! love.gif:love
