Nursing Interruption in 11 month old

Recently I had to be apart from my sweetie baby for two nights. She did well with the separation. I pumped, and she resumed breastfeeding with no problem. We nursed all weekend.

Now we are separated again, this time for 4 nights. Will she go easily back to nursing again, or will she forget how to do it? Anyone with a similar experience?

How old is she?  I think that at an early age, DD would have fallen back into it pretty quickly - however if I had had a separation later on (say 3+ years old) she might have just stopped altogether, and she did forget how pretty fast when she was near weaning.

She's almost a year.

I would think in that case that she would get back to it pretty quick.  Especially if she is getting a bottle while you are gone.  I don't have any experience to back that up, so hopefully someone who does will chime. in. :)

Hi...

several weeks later, and I'm happy to report that my baby returned to breastfeeding with no problems other than a decreased supply.

She's only nursing about twice per day on average, but any is better than none, right?

:)
