So far were going to start "Kid of the Day"-where they get to choose the daily activity, lunch, movies, books ect(hoping it will stop or at least minimize the bickering)

Things we've been talking about:

-picking one new meal to make a week

-puffy paint

-making paper

-fairy houses

-Oobleck

-berry picking

-tin can stilts

The big projects DD1 and I have planned are:

tie-dye silk scarves for dancing and pretend.

type up a story that we play act, create illustrations and get printed as a book

make cement stepping stones with rocks, gems, and miscellany embedded in them

Looking forward to getting some more ideas!

We are going to try making sidewalk paint, finger paints, goo, and I think I saw a recipe for super balls on pinterest that we are going to try.  We might also get kind of wild on playdoh.  I love the stepping stone idea- I might have to try that too!

Sigh, I wish my kid were old enough for this stuff! For you guys though - how about painting a plant pot and planting flowers in it? That one's on my to do list when munchkin get older. :-)
