Too soon or wrong dates?

I'm so confused. I felt some fluttery movements last night, but it's way too soon to be feeling anything yet. I'd only be about 5-6 weeks!

I looked back to see if there's any way my dates could be off, but I don't see how. The last period I had started right in the middle of our anniversary dinner on 17, May. It got super super heavy on the 19th - so much so I freaked out and called the midwife I saw with my last son and plan to see for this baby, too - then I spotted through the 22nd and 23rd. The times we had sex after my period were 25th, 26th, 28th, 31st. I should have been ovulating on or around the first or second of June.

I don't think there's any way I could be further along... is there??

Is it possible that the heavy bleeding was actually from a subchorionic hematoma? The gushing sounds like one. If so, you would be 4 weeks further along (or close to that) and would be 9-10 weeks which would not be unheard of for feeling movement.

When did you take the pregnancy test and was the line super dark or faint?

When I took the test on 11, June, it was faint.

What's a subchorionic hematoma?

That period I had was bright red blood which made the midwife ask me if it was possible that I was miscarrying, but I was certain I was not.

If it is a subchorionic hematoma, would that risk me out of home birth??

I had this exact thing happen last pg, my fourth actually. Turned out I WAS a month father along then I thought and the heavy bleeding that appeared like a period was not. I had a home birth with no issues just lots of old blood clots from the hematoma.

So I'm guessing that I'm going to wind up with ultrasounds aplenty??
