Yay Rachie!
How sweet Mary! Our kids are coming along tomorrow AM and I hope the tech is cool like that, gets them excited too. 
I must admit I am feeling anxious and a bit nervous for my appt. tomorrow.
I haven't been feeling many symptoms the past day and then my mind goes to " maybe the baby isn't viable"...
Anyway, I had similar thoughts last time and eveything was fine with my daughter so I will just try to get some sleep for now.

fragola1- Thanks! My OB has had twins, and she didnt delivery until 39 weeks, so Im so glad I have a doc that knows I can go to 40 weeks if they want to cook that long. I'm terrified about potential complications, but like you said - plenty of women have healthy twin pregnancies. That's all I get to tell myself right now.

We have an appt, Monday at 9AM for an ultrasound, very exciting!!

Sadly, my OB visit confirmed my worries of the past few days (feeling less symptoms and having a gut feeling).

Baby according to doctor is not developing/pregnancy doesn't look healthy. We could see the sac and the shape of something but no heartbeat, no limbs or movement. 
I told her I was very sure of my conception date so bearing that in mind, this baby is not 8 wks along. 
To be absolutely certain, she is having me come again on Tuesday for a follow-up u/s and then we will decide how to proceed.

I almost didn't want to post back here bc I hate to bum pregnant mamas out. I know I hate reading disheartening stories myself.
Truth is, yes I am deeply sad as is my husband. We both shed tears today. 
But...I have never had trouble getting pregnant and I started at age 37. We only had sex one time the month of May and conceived. I also have two darling beautiful healthy children I am blessed with and we can & will try again as soon as we can. 

I am sad I won't be part of this gracious group of ladies. I was excited about us all having babies together but my time will probably happen a few months down along the way. I will definitely come back to see everyone's progress & birth stories. I wish for you all very healthy easy pregnancies

Oh, I'm so sorry mama. I wish you peace as you heal. Don't worry for one second about your story being a bummer and thanks for posting an update-- loss is a part of life and motherhood and everyone is aware of that. Best of luck for a future pregnancy. I'll be looking for you on MDC and keep us updated!

I haven't set my appointment yet, but I'm eager to go ahead and hear that heartbeat!  Maybe I'll try to set it for this next week.

I broke down and scheduled an ultrasound for tonight at 7pm.  I'm 8 weeks today..   eeek! can't wait! the only downside is i have to go by myself because DH will be watching the kids and we haven't told anyone else who is local..

Yes please let us know how it goes  :)  My appointment is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.  I am nervous but excited!!!  Oh please please let there be a little heartbeat!!

Saw the heartbeat today!!! SO exciting. Measuring right at 8 weeks, heart beat 165. It was a very good day. =0) We even got to hear the heartbeat, so cool. I teared up LOL.

I have to wait a little over 3 more weeks! My first midwife appointment was too early to hear anything and I didn't have an ultrasound. I'll have one at 11.5 weeks for CVS, and that's the first look or listen that we'll get. I kind of like that, though, since we had two perfectly beautiful ultrasounds with my first pregnancy at 7 and 9 weeks, then one at 9.5 weeks that showed no heartbeat. An early ultrasound isn't all that reassuring for me since that happened, but one at 11.5 weeks will be!

My first post - until this afternoon, I didn't know if I was due in Jan or Feb 2013. Official due date 02/10/2013! Exactly 8 weeks 1 day at today's ultrasound. Heartbeat? OMG yeah! Loud and fast at 165. Big head, little arms and legs, he/she was squirming around and showing off the whole time. Technology is AMAZING! Saw the red and blue of the blood pumping through the heart with each heat beat & saw blood flow in the umbilical cord to the baby. Sooooo mad at myself for not taking out my phone and recording it I as was by myself :'(  Got tons of pics, though. Gonna make one my avatar! Momma 41 - if you're wondering if you'll hear a heartbeat...you DEFINITELY will If you're due 2/10/13 or sooner.
