Sibling differences?

For those of us with more than one now, I'm curious to know what kinds of differences you see between or among your kiddos.  DS is so different from his sister, it's like having an entirely different species.  I'm so glad I had DD first....... it's probably a really good thing I had no idea babies could be this easy or I would never have survived her infancy!

I have seven. One is completely a personality all to herself but she was from my first marriage so that is probably the reason. The other six - three are like me and the other three more like their father. Each have their own unique "things" and peculiarities but generally they are a pretty even split! orngbiggrin.gif

Sigh... I have the opposite problem here. DS is soo much harder than DD. But I was a single mom when I had DD so maybe that's why I got lucky and had such an easy baby.

I'm getting really tired of being the human binky.

AND DD was a preemie and ds was not so he's very advanced rolling laughing talking nearly sitting and DD was just "average" for her birth age.

But I get what your saying, very different kids.

It's crazy, isn't it?  I mean, my parenting style isn't really all that different, but suddenly I have a baby that I can lay down for a nap in a pack-n-play in a room full of kids playing at a friend's house.  Or he'll lay on the rug playing with the shower curtain while I take a shower AND shave my legs!  Man oh man.  And yeah, he's a giggler.  <3

Maternalove, sorry you have a tougher one this time around but at least you have some baby skills now, right?  :)

Totally! And help. When DH gets home I can be like... SEE YA. I'm going to the book store to have some quiet time for an hour. LOL I never had that luxury with DD.
