Newton-Wellesley vs. Mt. Auburn for VBAC??

Hi there,

I am a VBAc candidate and am looking into the midwives of Harvard Vanguard and delivering at Newton-Wellesley or the midwives at Mt. Auburn...anyone have any advice??  thought??  My first was supposed to be at the Cambridge Birth Center but I ended up at the Cambridge Hospital and wasn't thrilled with the experience so I want to change for this time.  I am hoping for a successful, calm, supported environment where I do not have to be hooked up to a monitor and am encouraged to move...let me know if you have any thoughts...Thanks!!

Positive VBAC vibes to you!

Bumping for attention. Anyone have a recommendation?

If you're open to an OB, my friend had a wonderful VBAC with Dr. Beth Hardiman at Mt. Auburn.

Wishing you a wonderful pregnancy and birth!

Both midwife groups at Mt. Auburn and NW are great, but Mt. Auburn Midwives has a wonderful success rate for VBACs, so I would start there.

Good luck!

Thanks... I have started seeing a midwife at Mt. Auburn.  N.W. is closer to home but I liked everything else at Mt. Auburn...
