almost 4yo DD has possible measles- what to do?

My DD will be 4 in September and on Tuesday she came down with a fever and on Wednesday morning woke up with a rash. Rash is spreading from upper arms to lower arms and hands, from upper legs to lower legs, from face to neck from upper back to lower back. Fever continues. SHe also has swollen lips, eyelids and cheeks and is congested. This really looks like measles. What do I do to help her feel better and make sure that she doesn't have any complications?

Vitamin A is very helpful for measles. I have this at home. http://www.klaire.com/prod/proddetail.asp?id=V060-01 If you can afford it, I recommend next day shipping because if it is measles, it would be good to start right away.

She was seen by the pediatrician twice in the last few days. They are not sure if this is measles.
I have FCLO which has vit A in it. She takes it everyday. Should I just give her a bigger dose?

If you give her CLO every day, I doubt she is severely deficient in vitamin A, so I think she would be at a low risk of complications. However, CLO is not appropriate for large dosing of vitamin A because of the vitamin D content, and also it would just be gross to give that much oil. You can Google the dosage of vitamin A that is recommended for measles. It is pretty high.

Does the doctor have an on-call nurse? If so I would call them and see what they suggest. The nurses at my dd's doctor's office tend to be very patient and helpful. If you don't have that I suggest going in again and pressing for specific information. When my dd had pneumonia we went in three times because she kept spiraling downhill so I don't think it is frowned upon when the illness is serious and not improving much.
