Feeling movement!

I have "blossomed" in the last 2 days! I woke up yesterday morning and my belly was 3 times the size it was when i went to sleep that night. And then this morning i was lying on my back and felt a very notable swelling in my abdomen! You could feel where the baby was! And i can feel movement, its not all that often but its there and definitely NOT gas flutters. Its all starting to feel real, and I love the fact that my DH could feel the bulge in my abdomen too, and is beginning to start his real connection with the baby and this pregnancy! I will be 12 weeks tomorrow!!! I cant believe that we are all almost in our second trimester!!! Is it flying by for anyone else?

How exciting for you joy.gif

I first felt movement at 12w as well. I'm 15w today and it has def not slowed down.

I'm a little over 12 weeks and I've been feeling occasional little flutters too.  I love that feeling!

I'm actually a little nervous because I was pretty sure I felt the first little bumps a week or so ago and haven't really felt anything since.  I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and still not looking pregnant unless I've eaten a really big meal!  After several days of feeling really great I threw up again this morning after having cinnamon toast and a banana.. really strange.  I can't wait to start feeling consistent movement and having a 'real' belly to sport.  It does seem to be flying by.  Also can't wait to start feeling the 'nesting' urges to clean and de-clutter and prepare.  I feel really unprepared right now, guess it's a good thing there's six more months to get my ish together!

How great! I've also felt flutters. It's so much fun!

Hotsauce, I totally understand the wanting the bump and the feeling good and then feeling bad again.  I betcha in two weeks we will be feeling great and showing off our new bumps!

^ Agreed. 13w is still early for movement and a belly. At that point I was still feeling nauseous too. Hang on!

I can definitely feel my little "bump" too, it's very exciting :)

I'm not feeling movement yet (still at 10w here) but with my last pregnancy I def felt movement at 12 weeks and I'm hoping to start feeling the baby in a couple of weeks.

It's so much fun to feel those first little flutters!  I always thought they felt like bubbles popping.

I have not felt any movement yet, in fact due to the fires here in Colorado and my Midwife having to evacuate I have not even heard the heartbeat yet! But I am sure everything is fine as I am getting bigger by the day (almost at 14 weeks). Its so exciting that you all are feeling movement! I didn't feel anything until 22 weeks last time so I am sure I have a ways to go.

Hotsauce - my nesting urges have hit already, in fact they have been here for a few weeks now. I printed up a huge calendar on a wide format printer and have a room to work on every day to de-clutter, we have a pretty big house and we have a lot of junk so it should take me about 4 months to get it all done how I would like, and on top of that I also plan on getting all my Christmas and birthday gift making done by November 1st this year. Last year I was staying up until 3 am 3-4 nights a week between Thanksgiving and Christmas - this time I refuse to do that!

I should really start on that as well - thanks for the reminder!

I was feeling movement a few weeks ago and then it slowly tapered off and I wasn't feeling much for a while.  I had fleeting moments of fear, thinking maybe something was wrong (I just mc in march).  But I'm 15 weeks now and I'm feeling tons of movement everyday now.  Little kicks here and there and tightenings where I know it's baby swirling around.  Definitely one of the joys of motherhood!

I'm glad to see others feeling movement this early as well.  My last pregnancy, I didn't feel anything until almost 20 weeks.  I did have an anterior placenta.  This time, I started feeling movement around 11 weeks.  It's so nice to feel something and it helps me feel a little more connected to baby.

Yup, been feeling movement since 12 wks. I'm 14 wks on saturday and the flutters/bumps are getting a little more frequent. I love it!

I've got nada here (14 weeks).  I could feel swirling when i was being scanned (and i could see it flipping about and relate the two together) but without the visual bit the whole thing is just too vague.  I have an anterior placenta this time, so maybe that's why.

Oh that's so neat I am not feeling anything but gas still!

I haven't felt any movement, either and was at this time in my last couple of pregnancies, but like GoBecGo, I have an anterior placenta,so I'm thinking that's why.  I haven't even felt gas- durn pregnancy constipation. LOL

I so can't want to feel movement so it can finally start sinking in and I can start getting more connected and excited about this little one! I am jealous of those who can feel movement so early. I am WAY too fluffy from my massive weight loss to feel movement sooner than 16weeks. :(

I thought I felt movement early last week, but since I haven't felt it again, I'm not sure!  I'm 18 weeks tomorrow, but there was a strong heartbeat last week so it's probably just placenta placement, right?

I'll be 20w tomorrow and have an anterior placenta. The movements are still faint.

I've been kind of nervous about the lack of movement, will be 18 weeks in two days.  I swear I feel stuff here and there when I'm laying still at night, but it happens so quickly that I second guess whether I'm imagining things or am just... gassy, lol!  I need to schedule an u/s appointment soon.  I was waiting until at least 18 weeks so the chances of telling the gender were pretty good.  As for now, I have started producing colostrum and can really feel my uterus getting fuller so I'm assuming things are right on track, though it will be a relief to actually see and know for sure.
