Our Newest Addition

We started down this adoption journey in March of 2011.  We finally went active with our agency at the start of 2012 and were matched with our son's birthmom at the beginning of May.  Abraham was born on June 20th weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 oz.  Birthmom signed the next day.  We are in love. 

We are still waiting out ICPC so we can get back home with him.

Thank you everyone.  We are enjoying him so much.  He's the worst sleeper of all my babies, so we are in survival mode, but he's worth it.

Awww he is so cute. He looks a lot like one of my son's at that age (there is a newborn picture of him on my profile page at three weeks old, where my oldest is feeding him a bottle)...imagine my surprise when all that straight black hair eventually turned into a big ol' curly 'fro!
