Hi all!
We're camping this week so I have limited internet use. Glad to see more BFPs! Congratulations Shawnamarie and Magoodoggy!!!
Please move me to 2WW. I've lost track of the days out here, but I think I'm 4dpo. I know I'm not in the range I can test until next week so I'm not obsessing about what cycle I'm currently on yet. Have a good week everyone!

Thanks Stones! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
Quinalla--That was my thinking when I posted about this the first time. "I'll say something and AF will show up an hour later to make me seem like an idiot." That was a week ago already. -_-*

Sleepingbeauty- is it possible you are having an anovulatory cycle and because of that, your hormone levels haven't dropped enough to cause your period to start? I've only had 1 in the 20 months I've been charting but I know my cycle was over a week longer that month because I didn't ovulate. If not anovulatory, are you confident in when you ovulated? Maybe that's off? Regardless, hope you get some answers soon. I've heard that large quantities of vitamin C (like 6000 mg a day) can bring on AF, if you are close to starting anyways. I'd do more research before trying it, though.
AFM- DPO5 and just cruising through the TWW. Puppy + migraine = no time to obsess, which is actually a very good thing. :) This was our NTNP cycle, too so although I am hopeful, we really didn't DTD that much so I keep telling myself that there is no chance for BFP (while still hoping for one!). I'll try to resist testing until next Friday (12DPO and the day before my girls weekend).
ETA: I'll be waiting to know in the new thread! I forgot to update this week. :)

Hey ladies, AF found me yesterday morning and is now here with a vengeance. Ugh. In bed with a water bottle for me! This means we're on to cycle 10 - almost a year of trying. Trying to keep my chin up.
Hope you're all well!

I was wondering that myself. I'm not temping right now (but as sure as hell am starting again this coming cycle!) so I'm not exactly sure of my O day. Based off of my past, I would guess that I have a 15 day LP. My cycles run 33-34 days like clockwork...you know...except right now.
I'd heard of the Vit C too. I'm going to have to look into it and give it a try. I'm still only having brown-ish CM with little flecks of red upon closer inspection in the shower a little bit ago. That's the best I've done so far so I'm taking it as a good sign, I think...
This is so incredibly frustrating!!!

Yay SugarPlum! Congrats on graduating! ![]()
AFM--1 week, 6 days late. This is insane. I had such immense cramps last night that J and I just curled up in bed and cuddled. He rubbed my back and I love that guy all the more for it. lol I knew for sure AF was coming. I even told J that it would only be another hour or so. So I wok up this morning, ran to the bathroom....nothing. Pink-tinged CM that I had to go get (TMI, sorry) and barely anything on my toilet paper. I have no idea what's going on with this. My boobs are a little sore (usually an "any second now" PMS symptom for me) and I'll admit to maybe, possibly being a tiny bit of a mega-b****.
Anyone have anything that might encourage my body to get AF moving along? I'm retesting tomorrow morning just in case (2 weeks late) and calling my gyn on Monday either way. This crap has gone on long enough. WTH is my body doing?!?!
I was going to say sex as well. Also, maybe raspberry leaf tea? That can cause something to get going. I used it to try to get my missed/slowly happening miscarriage to get going.
AFM: I got to go with DH to Iowa to look at some dairy goats from his Amish customers. We didn't end up bringing any home because they all said they only breed what they need but we got plenty of information. I also came home with pockets full of notes I took about their gardens. So excited. I think I ovulated on Thursday. Wed evening cervix was high soft but not open, Thursday evening it was high getting firmer but still slightly open and Friday afternoon it was closed again. We DTD Wed and Thurs night. I hope that was enough. I was planning on initiating last night but we were both so exhausted from 36 hour trip in the truck and I figured since my cervix was closed it would be ok to skip that night. Is it possible to only have an O window of 12 - 18ish hours? I feel like I didn't have a full 24 hour window this time. And I only saw EWCM once so if I wasn't checking my CP I would've missed it.
Now DH is off to Wisconsin this morning to go pick out tux/suits for his friend's wedding he is going to be a groomsman in and it is FINALLY RAINING!!!! It just started now. It has been between 95 and 104 this whole last week with 80% humidity. Down to 65 this morning. The rain is def welcome!
Now I have to get through the dreaded 2WW. My test day is the 19th. It feels soooo far away. I feel like I have "luck" on my side this cycle, though. I ran out of coffee at home the day I think I O'd, I am also completely out of any AF supplies, and my new clothes I ordered arrived while we were gone so all those things should = pregnancy.
Good luck to everyone who is within testing range. I hope that we have another round of BFP's coming soon, me included!

I'm a ONE graduate from a while ago who checks in once in a while.... hope you don't mind.
Congrats to all of the BFPs! (And, that one much-wanted BFN!) Way to go, ladies-and-babies! My fingers and toes are crossed to each and every one of you.
Deborah- Remember me? I've been thinking about you a lot the last week or so. I know this has to be an excruciating month for you. I hope you're hanging in there.
7 DPO here and had a tiny bit of spotting this morning. Fingers crossed that it's a good sign! I'll probably test around 10-12 DPO. Maybe sooner if the IC's I ordered get here :) Anyone else testing soon?

I am 5dpo. I'll likely start testing around 9dpo (Wednesday) since I've gotten positives on 9dpo several times.
If I am not pregnant this month, I may start using progesterone cream again. I had an early miscarriage 2 months ago which could be a sign I need it. I did use it with my last two babies.

So I have a weird question for you ladies ... and after this many kids I *should* know the answers to all these dumb questions, but it's like "use it or loose it" knowledge LMAO.
1- Can any of you FEEL your cervix opening/closing? I know it's possible to feel O pain in your ovaries, but several months now I swear it feels like my cervix is opening and then a few (2-3) days later I can feel it close. During this time I do feel O as well. The only thing is, we weren't "trying" before now I was definitely wasn't paying attention to when we DTD or what was going on and my cycle has been all over the place. I've also had a TON of stress because we sold, packed, moved ourselves, bought, unpacked and painted from one state to the next with 5 kids in tow. Anyway, it's strange to think I am really feeling it open and close, but it seems to line up with my typical LP and when I should be O'ing .. if that makes sense at all. Can anyone else feel this happening too?
2-Anyone else use coconut oil as lube?? It helps fight off bacteria (prevent yeast etc) and isn't bad for your body but I can't find any good info on harm or help with sperm.

I do not check cervical position, but yes, you should be able to feel a difference if you are checking it. When you are fertile, it's in the SHOW position (soft, high, open, wet), or as my Billings instructor says, "moves out of the way to make room for baby making". :)
I don't use coconut oil, but I think it would be okay. I use olive oil/tea tree oil mixed (9:1 ratio) as a moisturizer and use it "down there", especially if I'm feeling like BV might be coming on (I struggle with that, but the oil mix and a fantastic probiotic have kept things under control for the past year). I don't use it as a lube (TMI, but I have never had a problem with lube and DH has actually used the term "oceanic") and probably wouldn't use the tea tree oil (it's a powerful antiseptic/anti-fungal and probably not good for sperm) during fertile times.

please move m e to Two Week Wait, If anyone remembers me from last year (sugarplum I think I remember you- CONGRATS!) I'mmmm baaack- Okay so last September we had a MC and then after that happened my husband threw me another wrench and said he wasn't sure he wanted anymore kiddos...It was a sad time for me. Anyway we are back on the same page and are currently trying to conceive again. (Obviously). So I am actually 10dpo this morning and tested with FMU (because I am a POAS fiend!) I don't particularly feel preggers ( that's a bit of a lie- I have had signs but I just think I am symptom spotting like I always do) however I do check my CP (something that I have done regularly in my cycle so I am used to how it "normally" does during my cycle) and that is making me think I for sure am! Previous cycles my CP has just been all over the place- HSC LFC...but this cycle it's been M to H and VERY SOFT!!! and C....with what looks to me like ewcm but I am a couple days out from AF....so we will see. I tested yesterday and today but both were negative. However, according to Pregnology ( cool site...check it out) I wouldn't be able to see it on a HPT for at least a few more days. So fingers crossed and lots of
! Good Luck also to anyone else with fingers still crossed this month :)
Just wanted to jump in and introduce myself!
My husband and I have been waiting patiently to have my IUD removed. Now that it's out, I am beyond excited to get things going. I have 2 children already, but it's been awhile since I've done this, as they are 6 and 8 now. I hope my eggs are still happy!
I am on CD 13 and intent on BDing at least every other day for the next week or so (which is awesome timing for us, as our children are gone for the next week!). My cycles have been roughly 33 days on average...not temping this cycle, but hoping to catch that egg anyhow.
It's so exciting to be back on the TTC wagon - I'm nervous, impatient and very excited all at once! Thanks for having me here. :)

Tenk... Well, I think some of our cramping during AF is the clots travelling through the crevix, so I would imagine someone very sensitive in that area would feel their cervix openning and closing around ovulation.
As for the coconut oil, I don't really know. Personally I would only trust egg-whites or Preseed, but at my point in the process, I avoid everything and anything that could be an issue!!!
Welcome back, by the way. ![]()

I remember you from before, nice to see you again mama!!
Oh, and I am not checking my cervical position internally (not lately anyway) I just meant feeling it while it's happening and I'm laying still and just happen to feel sensations down there.
Thanks gals :)

DoulaRebekah, I'm so sorry for your frustration during the TTC process. I'm frustrated at 3 months, so I can only imagine how you are feeling. Fingers are crossed that this cycle will be the one for you!
Welcome to the newcomers too!! These boards are a really great source of information and support!
AFM, DH and I just got back from a nice weekend in niagara falls. We got in lots of sight seeing, did the maid of the mist boat ride and saw a good show. Also it was nice to have more free time for BD'ing without always having to wait till nighttime when DS is in bed.
Question for you temp'ing experts:
This is my first month charting temps, and I'm feeling discouraged and worried that I haven't O'd yet (I'm on cd20, and my cycle is 32 days, so I'm cutting it close if I need a 12 day LP, right?)
Do the cross hairs to show ovulation show up right away, or at the end of the month?
I had what I thought was creamy cm yesterday, but today it's more stringy and almost ewcmish, what's going on?? Is today my O day? (if so, I kinda wish we'd stayed in niagara falls an extra night!! lol)
Also, I started taking 50mg of B6 at the beginning of this cycle, but I've forgotten to take it on a number of occasions. Have I messed up my cycle somehow?
Can anybody look at my chart and give me some opinions?
Thanks!
