I''m a doula hoping to become an IBCLC and exploring the process. My question is about the 90-hour education- all the courses look similar and they're all accredited, cover all necessary areas, etc. So how did you choose which course to take? I see the range is between ~$800-1300. I'd just like to get more feedback before plunking down that much $$!
If you took those courses, did you also have to buy textbooks? Do they prepare one for the business side of building your own practice?
