You are carrying differently!  I look different this time around than I did the first time and I've got a girl instead of a boy.  Even if I hadn't found out the gender I think I would have known just based on how I'm carrying.

34 weeks! And I'm only 4 days late this time. 

I love seeing everyone's comparison photos! Since I don't have a previous pregnancy to compare to, I will say that I finally understand why ancient fertility figures look the way they do - I feel like I'm all boobs, belly, and hips!! So here's a nice Venus of Willdendorf for you, for my comparison photo.

I'll be interested to see if the old "carry high and in front = boy, carry low and wide = girl" thing carries any weight for me. Last time I carried like it was a boy, but had a girl. This time I'm carrying identically (albeit I'm a little bigger in general) and the midwife is certain it's a boy because of my ovulation/conception dates. We shall see!

Oh my, yes, I think there was a growth spurt. I feel WAY more crowded, like my belly's bigger but the baby's also taking up way more space in there. It will be interesting to see what I'm measuring at my midwife appointment tonight!

Okay I know I haven't posted in this thread before - my phone takes kinda crappy pictures and I can't get far enough away from ANY mirror in our house to get me all in - but I'm just so happy with my new green dress I thought I would. And as a bonus I dug up the ONLY picture I have of me with DD from 7 years ago, which illustrates the difference between now and then pretty well!

So that's me now, at 36 weeks.  Here's me, 7 years ago (about 10-15 lbs lighter, pre-pregnancy) at 38 weeks:

Ha, y'all probably thought I was imaginary up til now. 

The pumpkin shirt was actually one of the nicest sweaters I had, with felt eyes etc. taped on.  I bought it specifically so I could be a pumpkin for hallowe'en (one of my life's goals, believe it or not) but I wore it ALL the time because it fit well and was super-comfy.  I lost track of the shirt when I lent it to someone (can't remember who) and I've missed it ever since.

I'm new here - this is my latest shot, taken yesterday at 38 1/2 weeks! First baby so nothing to compare it to and everyone says that I'm having a boy based on how I'm carrying. We shall see soon enough!

37+2 in my junkie painting clothes and baby is in a LOA position right now so my belly feels really tight and hard. Hurray for the good position, baby.
