Okay, so after weeks of everything smelling gross or tasting gross even though I thought it smelled good, I finally ate something today that sounded good, smelled okay, and tasted great.

Thought it would be fun to do a thread on stuff we're eating, even if we know it's not exactly healthy, but it was something that finally hit the spot.

Me first...

I was craving starbursts like crazy last week.

Ummmm... Friday I consumed a dark chocolate milky way and a double package of Reece's cups between late afternoon and bed, and another package last night. Yep, the baby definitely made me do it. Lol!

Otherwise, I've been so good.

I feel no guilt in what I eat, and I invite you ladies to free yourself the same way! thumb.gif

I've been too sick to give into cravings too much... but if my stomach cooperated I would be eating tofu ruebens with lots of kraut, copious amounts of coconut icecream, chemical-laden cherry popsicles, mock tuna casserole with TONS of cheese (too bad I can't eat dairy), and any and all french fries.

I am craving egg rolls and onion rings. I went ahead and had the rings yesterday with the zesty sauce. I didnt have the energy to make them like I normally would. Being pregnant and working nights with a big family is not easy on the body! I had a coffee fizz (cream, coffee ice cream, and seltzer) soooo yummy.

I am trying this time to just enjoy being pregnant and not be stressed about my weight or body

it tasted so delicious

A&W Teen Burger (without bacon). I feel no guilt about this and it was every bit as delicious as I had hoped it would be.

I have also given in to french fries a couple times over the past month or so and eaten pizza twice. Considered how often I eat these days, I'd say I'm doing pretty well with managing the junk food cravings.

I'm very happy to see this thread :)

Bagels and cream cheese.  Yuuuuummmm- I could eat them for every meal, but I've been limiting myself to one per day.  But that one is amazing!

eating seems to help settle my stomach, even though making myself eat when my stomach hurts is a beating. i just ate 2 cheese sticks. i've also wanted bagels with cream cheese as well as mexican food. i got a bag of mini kit kats for when i need something sweet (or a quiet time bribe for the other 3 kids).

Taco, rice, and cheese!!!

It's literally what it says: taco meat, white sticky rice, covered in melty cheddar cheese.

Sooooo good and comforting, until I threw it up of course, LOL but I had it as leftovers last night and washed it down with a bowl of cheerios and that made it stick, haha

I've also had a wicked awesome grilled ham and cheese with tomato!!! yum, and uh a fried pickle or two. LOL

After over a week of no dairy, grains, processed foods, fried foods, caffiene, soy, alcohol or sugar, I had a double cheeseburger and fries tonight! It was amazing. Back on track tomorrow though :)

Oh, I miss french fries!!!!  I haven't been able to eat them in over 6 years without suffering immediate diarrhea.  not worth it.

I've been back to things not tasting great again, but it seems like the nausea is slowly easing up.

I'm having DH pick up a bag of Barbara's white cheddar cheese puffs on his way home tonight.  :)  Hoping they actually taste good when they get here.

And the bagel and cream cheese is sounding good too, will have to try that next time I get to the grocery store.
