nipple makes baby gag

     i bf both my 2 month old and 3 year old and i noticed my 2 month old would gag and spit up more lately. today the three yr old said my right nipple wasn't right. he licked it and jumped away, only taking the left.

 then i made a connection- the 2 month old was only gagging and vomiting after taking the right nipple.

 what could this be????????

 i have no other symptoms

I'm not sure. I tandem nursed also and sometimes I thought the milk came out too fast for the baby and so I nursed him on only one side at a time. I suppose you could have a plugged duct on the right, but then you would have some flu-like symptoms, feel a little sick. Can your 3-year-old tell you more?
