Anybody in Montana????

I know there are home-schoolers in my area, but many of them are very staunch "you are going to hell if you don't believe as I believe" Christians...and while my family is very spiritual, we don't believe what they believe, so...we're alone. I'd rather be alone than to be preached at, but...I was just wondering...are there any crunchyish happy families in my area??? )

Some people meet at La Leche League meetings or something and then go on to homeschool. So you can try the reverse, too. Look for crunchy groups and then see if anyone in them are homeschooling rather than seeking out homeschoolers directly. And you might make some non homeschooling friends that way, too. I've found common parenting styles to be much more important than being homeschoolers. Around here the older homeschoolers are just as busy and unavailable during the day, anyway.
