Blogging

It seems many of you are, or trying to, making money blogging. Can you tell me a bit about it? Like, how much you can make, is it just through ads on your site or do you do product reviews or what? How to you generate people and what numbers matter? Like, do companies look at how many followers you have or how many people view your blog?

My blog right now I barely have followers, but always get lots of readers if I post on FB or make it known somehow.

Is it worth it? I love to write and people are always coming to me for advice, so the actual blogging sounds great, but in reality I don't know how hard it is to start up!

I'd love to hear some wisdom too.  I just started getting serious with my blog, so I'm focusing right now on increasing my followers and readers.

I am signed up as an Amazon Affiliate, and I have Google Adsense, but I've yet to make money on this blog.  (I made $5 on links on my other blog, but it's just pictures of the kids and stuff).

In the last month I jumped from 0-10 page views a day to 40-60 consistently, and I've had three spikes where it jumped to 300-400.

So far I've been making sure to post everyday, comment on other blogs, and post all my blogs on twitter and facebook.

What else could we be doing?
