New due date « Back to Group Discussions

So I just went to the doctor today and had an ultrasound...two weeks ago my due date was February 4th, now it is March 6th!  Holy cow I'm in it for the long haul here!    Is anyone else this intune with their body?  I kinda already knew I was pregnant when I had my HCG test.

I found it really surprising how uncertain they are about due dates, but my sonographer told me they have a two week margin of error. I'm only three days shy of 9 weeks and so far I've been given three different dates. I just selected the one that seemed most accurate to me and I'm going to keep using it until baby gets big enough that they can be really confident in the due date.
 

It's kind of crazy to have it change by a whole month though

I just have to say, with DD this happened and it was not correct. Their ultrasound had me conceiving after I had already had a positive pregnancy test. Impossible. (she was born "6 weeks early" according to them- at 6 lbs 8 oz )

Do you know when you conceived?

Possibly.  I was still pumping for my 14mo so I haven't had a period in over 2yrs.  (I know, really nice!)  And he had surgery in May, so I am thinking possibly after the surgery due to the high levels of stress.  They wanted me to come back next week so they can try and get a better handle on the date.  I don't mind, that way I can see him/her again and know everything is alright:)

I had some due date confusion this time around, too. The first one showed that I was two weeks earlier than even possible (I thought-- maybe I forgot that we had sex again? Maybe the egg took more than a week to implant?)-- the second US put me just a week earlier, which still wouldn't have made sense, but then the third put me at the date that I had calculated.

A month off is a lot!  Curious if they bump you up a couple of weeks at the next one.

would be nice to be earlier than later.  my nxt u/s is on the 3rd of august so i guess i will find out.  i was figuring i could be two weeks off but not a whole month!  that is just too long.  i was still exclusively pumping for my 14mo and hadnt started my cycles as of yet (had been almost 2yrs!), so i was guessing 2 that i know i had had sex.  not too sure, but am just happy that i am pregnant!

I looked back over my charting and could tell the DOC and ovulation and think I have the implantation on there too so calculated my own due date which I gave to my MW and OBGYN. No one has questioned me yet. ;)
