I've been reading just not checking in - you guys are keeping me motivated!
Welcome MustardSeed and sorry you've been told to rest! Any idea what is causing it? I know how frustrating it is to be told not to keep moving - it seems we feel the effects much more when pregnant.
Zub - that's great that the running is helping with nausea - it must be awful still dealing with it!
vegan - that swim class sounds great! I hope your DD has a better time with the childwatch soon.
I did the elliptical 2x this week 3 miles - felt really good. Lot's of walking and home weight otherwise, and a little swimming. I've missed prenatal for a few weeks now, and really need to get back (just haven't had someone available to watch DS)
I've noticed something funny with my walks. I bring DS and we go on similar routes that I did pre-pregggo. Normally these are routes that would take 20-30 min's. I'm getting back and looking at the clock and it's taking like 40 min's now - ha ha! I guess I'm slowing down more than I thought! Still feels great though :)
Between the nightly walks and snack that I eat when I wake up in the night (even if not fully hungry) I'm sleeping pretty good most nights (for a pregnant women that is). If only I could figure out the hip pain. Some nights I have it some nights I don't. I thought it was related to the exercise/stretches (I know I need a softer surface too), but there doesn't always seem to be a correlation.
