Our lo finally arrived at 42 +3 weeks after a day and a half of "pre-labor" and almost 88 hours of active labor, on the afternoon of July 1. Woohoo! It was an absolutely amazing, incredible, life-altering birthing experience...totally healing from my first c-section (even though I had to have a repeat) and I am so grateful for it. She was 8lbs 8oz, 20 1/4" long.
She latched on immediately with almost no help from me and has been nursing almost constantly since :) She re-gained to her birth weight at 6 days old...lol
No name yet... Trying to find one that fits just right.
Did any one else have a baby on the 1st??
