Christopherus curriculum?

Hi, it's been a long time since I visited...

DP and I are considering HE again and I've been doing a lot of Waldorf inspired stuff with little ones over the last couple of years. So we've been looking at the Christopherus curriculum for our nearly 6 year old (grade 1 as she has been in reception class for a year in the UK).

Would like to hear personal experiences of it. Practically I'm interested to see the reading list to ensure we can easily (and reasonably) get the books here in the UK.

Oh and if anyone has a copy they have finished with and would like to sell then I'd love to hear from you:-)

Pls this is not the place for Waldorf-bashing, I'm clear in my own mind what I'm down with :-)

With love Claire

I wil pull my grade 1 out and check the reading list... I know it included the Book of Fairy Prices and The Complete grimms fairy tales.  Some recommended reading included "Children of the Forest" (Elsa... can't remember last name), Curious George, and Paddington.

Thanks. It sounds like the reading list will be doable, we already have several Elsa Beskow books and Paddington is very popular here!
