First off....I'm new to the board. I'm pregnant with our first (a boy), due Oct. 22. :)
My pregnancy has been very healthy thus far, no bleeding or cramping, growth (both me and baby) is on track, all ultrasounds have shown no abnormalities, etc. Just took my glucose test this morning, so hopefully that will be ok. Anyway, I just got an email from my naturopath (who I'm seeing in tandem with my midwife for "mommy care" to be sure I'm doing my best to support the little guy) saying that I had tested positive for a reactivation of the Epstein Barr virus. She had tested me when my fatigue levels had recently seemed more severe than for a normal pregnancy at this stage. I had mono in high school and have tested postive for reactivation of EBV a few other times throughout the years, but this is the first in awhile. I'll know more when I go in to follow up next week, but was just wondering, has anyone else had this during pregnancy? If so, how did you treat it, did you ever feel better and did it result in any complications (just read that it could lead to early labor....which is scary, but the studies were preliminary)?
