Hi, Red team here.  Today's weight is 166.2.  I'm super excited because this is my pre-pregnancy weight with ds one who is now 12 1/2.

Last weeks work outs:

Sunday- 20 minute walk

Monday- 1 hour walk

Tuesday-1 hour walk

Wednesday

Thursday- 50 minute walk

Friday- nothing

Saturday-nothing

Hoping to be more consistant this week.

I'm sad to say that it could have been more, and I did weigh less earlier in the week, but suspect I undid some of my hard word on Saturday!

I'm signed up to do my first 5km on Sept 2.  Somewhat scared.  Might need the Monday off work to recover!

Weird question: why do you guys talk miles for everything, but seemingly your marathons/races are in kilometres?  I have a hard time with the conversions as it is!

In the US, some standard race distances are in miles and some in KM - 5K, 10K are pretty standard race distances, but then marathons (26 miles) and 1/2 marathons are in miles.  There are also races at 10 miles or 50 miles.  So it just depends.

161.6  ( just over a 1/2 lb loss i think)

Great job ladies!  135.8 for me today.

139 this week again.

I'm having a super hard time. Exercise is going great, 3-4 times a week at the gym lifting weights and half hour of cardio. It's the eating. I don't FEEL full ever, don't feel like I am eating that much. No sugar, cook from scratch, lowish fat, few grains, etc. It's driving me crazy how hard it is to lose weight on this small amount of food. I can't do this the rest of my life simply to maintain. And everyone tells me it's harder to lose closer to your goal weight... fine... argggh!

I don't want to track calories any more I hate it. But I guess I've got to find out where it's coming from.

133.4 - .8 lb down, but I didn't eat well at all for most of the week so hopefully next week will be better. I'm going all-out with diet and exercise now, in preparation for my wedding on the 24th - I *really* want to lose those last few pounds by then.

171 lbs!  orngbiggrin.gif

I'm afraid I'm with Buzzer Beater. Didn't lose much.  I'm only down to 138.8 this morning which is a little frustrating seeing that I did 4 more days of work out than normal. I fear this week may be more of a challenge for me since we have VBS all this week and I usually do my walk/jogging in the evenings. Not to worry, I will make sure I at least get my 4 workouts in.thumbsup.gif

I am having the same problem with feeling full, too.  I have tried to eat more protein and make sure that I am getting enough fat, but I'm still hungry all day.  I even eat back my calories from exercise and I'm still hungry.

187.6 for me- a 2.4 lb loss. I suspect that last week's weigh-in was the result of vacation eating and bloating, so I'm coming down from that, thankfully.

207 this morning -  down 3 pounds.  Yay! smile.gif

I got in about 5 days of walking this past week with varying times from a half hour walk to an hour and a half. I'm not really on a specific diet though. Just trying to eat good food and cutting my portions by half.

233 up a pound - sorry blue team

151.6...i'll take it. did a zumba class this weekend and lifting weights today. :)

Ugg. 295. I gained about a lb. However, that's not surprising. There were some events at work making walking on my break difficult, my walking partner was gone, and free food beckoned at every turn. Plus going out twice over the weekend.

Back on track today with some yogurt and fruit for breakfast and a nice long walk with my friend while we caught up. Also planning to drink plenty of water today and the scale will probably be nicer to me tomorrow.

216  No hockey for a week and only walking 4 days. Between the health issues and AF being 5 days late (not pregnant) I've gained. :(   If I still can't play hockey this week, then I'll have to be super strict on what I eat.

Go Red Team!!!

251.4 This week!!! Down 1.6 lbs

Now, lets see if I can keep from ruining that today. It's my birthday. I've been really focusing on better food choices this week, and I think my family actually took the hint and isn't planning to make me a cake or give me gifts of candy or anything. I'm actually REALLY excited about this idea, and hope I'm right. =D They're pretty good at undermining my attempts to eat healthy, in totally unintentional ways. I know my husband took the night off work so we could all go out to dinner together.

I hope you all don't mind my not posting daily updates. I am reading all the posts for motivation. I just haven't felt like I've had much to post yet. My family has all finally decided that they want to improve their eating habits this week, though. We all have either digestive or allergy issues with diary and grains. We kind of try to avoid them, but haven't been ready to cut them out altogether. We've put a household ban on dairy, grains, and refined sugars this week, though. I need to get my butt to the gym more often still, but I'm already FEELING better without all the crud in my system. =)

We graze pretty well during the day, but dinners will be the challenge. Last night for dinner, I made up some meaty speghetti sauce. Then I chopped zucinni, carrots, and mushrooms up. We dipped the veggies in the sauce, and everyone was really happy with the meal.

168.5 today for a 1 pound loss. 6 days a week of working out just isn't possible this round (doing 3-4x now) so I'm glad to see a small loss even though I've scaled back. My 2yo DS is climbing things like crazy so I'm probably getting more exercise than I think anyway wink1.gif

172.6... I'm not quite sure how given the cake and beer over the weekend....

Oh, and for those that feel like they've really clamped down on how much they are eating and always feeling hungry... try for one week to eat a little more - fruit and veg...  I found that when I wasn't eating enough that I stalled out my loss horribly, but when I gave my body a little more fuel that I lost faster as it kept me out of starvation mode.

Boot camp this morning ROCKED!  joy.gif
