I just wanted to let you all know that I have had a computer crach and had to send my computer back to the manufacturer for repairs.  I will be without a computer for 2 to 3 weeks.  I am glad to continue my stat keeping duties and I will be weighin in on mondays and reporting a monday weight, but I will have to go to the library for internet access for the next 2-3 weeks, so I am not 100% sure what dates/times I will be posting.  I will try to come by here monday or tuesday evening each week until the computer is fixed but I just wanted everyone to know I will be a bit harder to reach than normal.

Oh that sucks BFM!  I'd hate to be without my lappy!

 

I'd be happy to do the calculations while your PC is being fixed if it will be easier for you.  You've done so much hard work after all.

I am in this round, too.  I really need to amp it up though.  I am feeling really heavy right now and it is pulling me down emotionally.  And maybe I am being overly-sensitive, but I have had a couple of sideways comments that make me feel horrible.  Yes, I am being sensitive, and I know that I am really just fine for a nearly 40 year old woman who had her fourth child six months ago.  It is just my self esteem talking and I hate the negative chatter.  

 

So, I am kicking around how I want to handle the next few months.  Our homeschooling year starts mid-August and I will be busy which can work to my advantage.  I actually work well with very tight restrictions and routine.  I think a big part of my slow weight loss the past few months has been the lack of schedule of summertime.  

 

Anyway, count me in.

I'm in!  This will be my first challenge.  I am currently using myfitnesspal.com (mostly the app on the phone ) to count calories which has been working super well but I do need to start working out as well!  If you use MFP add me!  My user name is the same as here thumbsup.gif

I'm planning on before/after photos as well since the scale hates me!

Anyone following paleo/primal diets? I won't be counting cals/carbs this time because I'm so over it! Instead I'm going to track workouts. Plan on 4 strength training sessions a week and walking/hiking whenever I can fit it in!

lilacvioletiris - I'm with you.... I'm also back to my 6x a week schedule for working out since I finished my summer term work. thumb.gif  MWF is boot camp, TTh is kettlebell and swimming. Saturday or Sunday is a run and swimming. I need to find a spin class that fits in there too. Signing up for a tri that is in September and the bike is my weak section.

I can't seem to keep on my plan in between challenges and I think I've gained weight already. Not sure, because I had dh hide the scale, which was getting stepped on about a thousand times a day. He'll give it back Monday morning so I can weigh in.

see i do sooo much better when i weight myself once a day. i do limit it to once in the morning, but i do terrible if i weigh in once a week.
