The 8 week healthy weight loss challenge 4.0 (started 7/30, enrolling through 8/4) - Page 2
I just wanted to let you all know that I have had a computer crach and had to send my computer back to the manufacturer for repairs. I will be without a computer for 2 to 3 weeks. I am glad to continue my stat keeping duties and I will be weighin in on mondays and reporting a monday weight, but I will have to go to the library for internet access for the next 2-3 weeks, so I am not 100% sure what dates/times I will be posting. I will try to come by here monday or tuesday evening each week until the computer is fixed but I just wanted everyone to know I will be a bit harder to reach than normal.
I am in this round, too. I really need to amp it up though. I am feeling really heavy right now and it is pulling me down emotionally. And maybe I am being overly-sensitive, but I have had a couple of sideways comments that make me feel horrible. Yes, I am being sensitive, and I know that I am really just fine for a nearly 40 year old woman who had her fourth child six months ago. It is just my self esteem talking and I hate the negative chatter.
So, I am kicking around how I want to handle the next few months. Our homeschooling year starts mid-August and I will be busy which can work to my advantage. I actually work well with very tight restrictions and routine. I think a big part of my slow weight loss the past few months has been the lack of schedule of summertime.
Anyway, count me in.
Anyone following paleo/primal diets? I won't be counting cals/carbs this time because I'm so over it! Instead I'm going to track workouts. Plan on 4 strength training sessions a week and walking/hiking whenever I can fit it in!

lilacvioletiris - I'm with you.... I'm also back to my 6x a week schedule for working out since I finished my summer term work. MWF is boot camp, TTh is kettlebell and swimming. Saturday or Sunday is a run and swimming. I need to find a spin class that fits in there too. Signing up for a tri that is in September and the bike is my weak section.
